'when celebrating an imperfect aesthetic you are teetering on the edge of chaos'

David Pearce is a self taught artist living near Padstow. his work reflect an intimacy with th local area where he has grown up, capturing the alure and drama of the distinct Cornish landscape. The painitings are simple yet sophisticated, with a nervous tension within the dynamic mark-making, juxtaposed against a sensitive and considered palette.
over the past ten years David's work has ben shown internationally at a number of prestigious galleries. Last year his work was exhibited at two of the countries most critically acclaimed exhibitions 'the sunday times watercolour exhibition' and 'the discerning eye.'
